objectives

The objectives that have been set forth in the journal are not unique or exclusive, but may also be modified, expanded and enriched, according to the conditions, circumstances and needs of the journal. The initial objectives of the journal are:

To recover and maintain the attention of the academic community focused on Indo-Afro-Asian, Latin American and Caribbean philosophy, as well as on other regions of the world other than the American continent; which will allow the Department of Philosophy to become a space for the dissemination of academic products relevant to the exchange of philosophical knowledge on a global scale.
To continue and reinforce Indo-Afro-Asian, Latin American and Caribbean studies as a specialty in the degree in philosophy, as well as to influence various postgraduate courses in our university, in other regions of the country and regions of the world.
To promote the journal as a publication without a Europeanizing orientation of philosophy, promoting in all cases, the dissemination of Indo-Afro-Asian, Latin American and Caribbean thought.
To offer an open space for transversal and interdisciplinary works inclined to issues of knowledge problems, as well as proactive, disruptive and innovative.
To reach the attention of researchers, teachers, university students, regardless of the profession, but also of governmental, business, alternative, civil, indigenous organizations and interested public, in general.
To be a link between researchers, teachers, students and various governmental, business and civil organizations, to generate new forms of collaborative work.
To generate new national and global research and collaboration teams, between university students of philosophy and humanities with various interested organizations and with organized and non-organized civil society.

In the medium term, to register the journal in international indexes and directories, complying with the editorial standards required by them.
